For Spanish speaking people of the southern hemisphere the 21st of September is the first day of Spring.

The 9th Hispanic Spring Festival (Festival de la Primavera) brings an international line up of performers to this celebration.

Come and enjoy these rich and exciting cultures celebrating with food, music and fiesta dance.

We will show performances from Spain and most of the Hispanic countries
with local, national and international dancers.

There will be
prizes for the boy and girl with the best traditional dress.

Food stalls from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Spain and Uruguay.

Latin rhythms right after the event for the whole family to enjoy and dance.

Food stalls open from 1:00pm, the Festival starts with a flag paradeat at 1:45 pm at the Hispanic Garden, Turtle Lake and all children are invited to participate and parade our flags
