How to Implement & Run an Effective Safety Committee
DETAILS

Gain an understanding of the functions of a safety committee and its members. With the use of the provided toolbox of sample documents, participants will have the knowledge and resources to effectively establish a proactive safety committee.

Learn how to construct an agenda, write minutes, produce a recommendation, and to report back to people in the workplace to reinforce the importance of communication and employee participation in health and safety issues.

This workshop is for all those who need to know how to establish and run an effective safety committee, which is representative of their workplace.

• Election of representatives
• Health and safety committee functions
• Safety committee proceedings and meetings
• Reporting back to staff
• Focus groups
• Reviewing your employee participation system
