To have a fun “Social” weekend playing a Pick Up Ice Hockey Tournament that allows us to play with players from areas other than Christchurch. We will be mixing everybody in teams for each set of games and will endeavour to have you playing with everybody who attends.
The first game will be Friday 8th May evening starting at 8.30pm.

Tournament Format:
Non Checking Ice Hockey.
40 players and 4 goalies.
4 teams (Each Team changing for each set of games).
4 sets of 2 games.
Setting: the beautiful Tekapo Ice Rink.

The Schedule
2 games late Friday night: Game 1: 8.30pm start (be there at 8.00pm), Game 2: 9.45pm start Getting to know everybody “drinks” (Venue to be announced)
2 games Saturday Morning:: Game 3: 7.30am, Game 4: 8.45am
Enjoy Tekapo during the day, or soak in the Hot Pools
2 games Saturday Evening: Game 5: 5.30pm, Game 6: 6.45pm
Social event: Wear your favourite Overseas Team Ice Hockey Shirt Social (Venue to be announced)
2 games Sunday morning: Game 7: 8.00am, Game 8: 9.15am
Prize giving 10.30am.
Travel home at your leisure.

The Games
The games will be a 5 min warm up, 3 X 16 min periods with a 2 min break between periods giving us 3 mins for shaking hands and any other stoppages.
There will be a groom between each game. Each Team will be made up of 10 players plus a goalie. There will be 2 Referees for each game.
Everybody will get 4 games, one game in each set of 2.
Teams will play in Aardwolfs Red and Aardwolfs Blue Shirts. Blue and Red Shirts will be supplied at the start of each game for those that need them, they will be collected at the end of each game.
We will be posting team lists closer to the date so you will know which games you are playing.
All Aardwolfs players are asked to take their own red Aardwolfs playing tops.

Transport and Accommodation
You will be responsible for your own transport and accommodation.
