New Zealand Golf’s premier event the Michael Hill NZ Golf Open hits The Hills Golf Club, Queenstown 27 to 31 January 2010.

Rated as one of the best courses ever built in New Zealand, The Hills will offer spectacular scenery and a challenging test of golf for the world’s best players.

New Zealand’s richest sporting event with prize money in excess of $1,000,000NZD will ensure a world class field. The event is co-sanctioned by USPGA’s Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.

The action starts on Pro-Am Day on 27 January with the top ranked 60 professional partnering invited amateur guests around 18 holes morning and afternoon.

On Thursday and Friday the action begins with 156 players negotiating their way around the challenging Hills layout. A cut will be made Friday evening when the top 60 players and ties contest the weekend’s action. Saturday and Sundays play will begin around 8am and conclude around 6pm on the 18th green.

Whilst on course you will be entertained by not only great golf but the amazing views the course has to offer. The course design has allowed spectators the opportunity to witness numerous holes from one location.

Main Street Village will again be created in the centre of the golf course with the public facilities such as food and beverage and merchandise.

Don’t miss the action either on the Heineken Hill, hole 15 which has a bar greenside on the drivable Par 4 hole.
