Musicians band together for charity concert…with gourmet hangi

Some of the country’s best known musicians descend on Ngaruawahia in early May to entertain at a gourmet hangi in aid of the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre.

Titled A Special Matariki Event, the hangi and concert at Turangawaewae Marae features performances from Dave Dobbyn, Hollie Smith, Whirimako Black, Nesian Mystic and more.

Time: 4pm Powhiri, 5-8pm Hangi & Concert

Where: Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia

(80 mins from Auckland, 30 mins from Hamilton & 120 mins from Tauranga)
