The 2011 edition of the Greens’ annual State of the Planet speech will see Co-leader Russel Norman outlining more of the Party’s economic approach to an audience in Auckland on Sunday.
“The world is turning towards smart, green economics,” Dr Norman said, “and this means there’s great opportunity for New Zealand.
“We know that the environment is at the heart of our economy, and that we need to sustain our natural capital. Sunday’s speech will give an overview of how we can do that and what benefits it has for New Zealand.”
Dr Norman delivers the speech at the Party’s 2011 candidate conference in Pt Chevalier, Auckland on Sunday afternoon.
