Artists throughout Auckland West are busy finishing artwork and dusting their studios ready to open to the public for the 7th Annual West Artists’ Open Studio weekend on 26 and 27 March.

Works from a wonderful range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, woodcraft, silk screening, cartooning, printmaking, jewellery, mosaics, glass art, assemblage and pottery will be on display and for sale and
some artists will be giving demonstrations and offering the opportunity to ‘have a go’ creating your own artwork.
Artists will also be on site to talk about their work and share their inspiration.

Pick up a brochure from local Galleries, libraries or Auckland Council ph 3010101 to drive yourself to your own choice of studios, or take part in a bus tour for $15 (bookings recommended).
