Hesketh Henry Facilitates Series of Seminars

Law firm Hesketh Henry continues to lift its profile with a series of planned seminars in conjunction with the New Zealand German Business Association (NZGBA).  The first of these was held on the 2nd July at the offices of Hesketh Henry. Hesketh Henry’s Managing Partner, Mr Erich Bachmann along with another partner, Ms Kate Telford spoke on New Zealand liability together with Mr Andre Louw from Jardine Lloyd Thompson PTY Ltd who spoke on insurance protection.  Three further seminars are planned throughout the year.  Hesketh Henry’s employment team will be presenting in August, followed by a presentation on succession planning in early November and finishing off with the Corporate Commercial team hosting  A seminar on Global Advertising - Managing Country Diversity on the 12th November.

Since its foundation in 1983 the NZGBA has been an important partner in fostering bilateral trade between Germany and New Zealand and advises German and New Zealand companies on market development and supports  them in the initiation of business relations. Hesketh Henry has a number of fluent German speakers and has had a long term affiliation with the NZGBA. They occupy adjacent offices.  Hesketh Henry’s Managing Partner, Mr Erich Bachman is currently President of the NZGBA. The two entities have a long history of successfully facilitating German and New Zealand businesses to trade and invest in each other’s countries.

Along with the affiliation with NZGBA, Hesketh Henry is also a lead member of the New Zealand Lawlink Group.
