Turners Auctions are well known for their vehicle and machinery auctions but they have now segued into a more exotic field – the field of movie and music star props. The first auction of movie and music star props, 3D props and themed sets was a great success and there are more auctions to come. These props are all from Orange Productions, the stock is surplus to their requirements as they’re expanding their business in new directions.

The next auction will start on Monday 14 July and the catalogue will be available at this time.  For anyone who is part of a school production, theatre or production company they need to make sure they don't miss out as these auctions are unique. There are lots of wooden flats - characters, movie, music and sports stars, as well as themed background flats. Plus there are 3D props and other production equipment such as popcorn makers. The goods will be split across several auctions and for most of the stock there is only one of each, so for anyone interested they shouldn’t wait because they'll move fast! Wooden flats include:  All Blacks, Michael Jackson and Elton John, Pamela Anderson,    Santa and his workers, Pirates, Canyon theme, Garden theme, Palm trees. 3D props include: Pirate,    Statue of Liberty, Hanging masks and large free standing candle holders. They also have working popcorn makers, 4-burner gas hobs.

All viewing and collection is at 68 Gavin St, Penrose in AuckLand, and for more information phone Jon-Ross Hill, 027 700 7742 or email him at jrhill@turners.co.nz .

Turners Auctions are best known as the place to go to buy a car but it is also a place to sell your car as well. The Turners website urges people to trade in their car for CASH NOW, which is exactly what it says. Cash Now, in your hand, in no time at all. Whatever the age, whatever the mileage, whatever the condition - they are interested in your car. Also, you don’t need to actually go to a Turners physical address to buy a car from them. Turners have live, online bidding which lets prospective buyers bid on auctions around the country. You can go to the website and register for ‘Turners Live’. Also, by registering on the website you can save ‘alerts’ for particular vehicles. When they are in stock Turners will email you with the details.
