Award winning insurance advisory firm, BRAVEday, has recently branched out into offering fire and general insurance to their clients. This new proposal is due to overwhelming client demand for a ‘full service’ insurance offering and the feedback from their clients has been extremely positive regarding the new services offered. Clients are relieved that they can now entrust all of their insurance needs to BRAVEday, a boutique, high end company that excels at customer service and claims management, offering quality advice on taking out an insurance policy.  To this end, BRAVEday’s experienced Fire and General broker, Kane Butler, is now well settled and keen to expand his network of clients.

Dean Young (the founder and director of BRAVEday)  recently told Insurance Business he was responding to constant requests from existing clients who wanted BRAVEday to look after all of their insurance cover. Says Young, “They’d say, ‘We really trust the company as a brand, your service is fantastic, why can’t you just look after everything for us?’ That’s where it really started.” There have been times in the past where we have felt our relationship with our clients was put at risk because we couldn’t service all of their needs. Now we feel confident we can offer them a one stop shop to meet all of their insurance requirements.”
BRAVEday entered the Westpac Auckland North Business Awards in 2013. Six years ago they were a finalist in the customer service category and had two wins last year - small business of the year and employer of choice, which was a real coup for their team. Entering the awards gives the team at BRAVEday an excellent opportunity to benchmark themselves against the wider business community, as well as enhance their profile. The exceptional customer service BRAVEday have built their reputation on is not something the wider insurance industry is generally known for, Young says, and that makes him especially proud to have beaten off a wide range of industries.

In 2013 Dean also accepted a nomination for the Professional Advisers Association (PAA) New Zealand Insurance Adviser of the Year - and won. As Dean says, it was great to receive recognition from within their industry and from their peers.

The name BRAVEday represents their outlook on life – to “live boldly, and have a BRAVEday” and the aim is for their clients to be able to face ‘claim day’ with confidence. Please go to http://www.braveday.co.nz  for more information.
