Every year we start with admirable New Year’s resolutions to lose weight and get pain-free, fit, strong and healthy, and every year we seem to trip and fall before we reach our goals. 2015 is the year to commit to our New Year’s resolutions and Velca Health Centre are there to help with this. This month the super-fit team at Velca Health Centre want their clients to start thinking about getting fit, healthy and in shape for summer, with the emphasis on nutrition, boot camps, Pilates and personal training, focusing on chiro, physio and massage. Now that we are all back from the holidays this is the perfect time to put our New Year’s resolutions into actions and to commit to an all-round fitness regime. These long summer days are perfect for setting the platform for a year-long fitness programme, with more time in the day for exercise, healthy eating and pure motivation. It is a well-known fact that drinking at least six litres of water per day is not only good for our health, but can assist in losing weight as well. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day helps us feel full for longer, without needing to eat unhealthy or high caloric snacks to satisfy our hunger cravings.
