The two-day course is designed to turn beginners into confident and competent Grade 2 white water kayakers.  “The course provides a solid foundation of skills while the participants have fun and build their confidence” says Laura.

Participants in the two-day course are taught skills such as self and peer rescue techniques, river reading skills, hazard identification & management plus many more skills that will set you up for success in a white water environment. 

“White water kayaking is very addictive and most people want to do another course after experiencing the beginners white water weekend,” says Laura.  “I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start white water kayaking as a sport as it the best and safest way to start your love affair with the river,” she adds.
