Kärcher’s push sweeper KM 70/20 C cleans indoor and outdoor areas such as paths, yards or workshops and has a theoretical performance of 2,800 m²/h. The sweeper features excellent straight-line stability which is a result of the main roller brush being driven by both wheels. Furthermore, a float-mounted metal pinion ensures that the roller brush continues to rotate even when one of the wheels comes to a standstill. This means that the machine sweeps equally well in left-hand and right-hand bends.
The roller brush can be quickly raised or lowered to one of six different height settings to provide the contact pressure necessary for the surface being swept. The height of the belt-driven side brush is infinitely variable.
The machine weighs only 23 kg and operates according to the dustpan and brush principle. With very little physical effort on the part of the operator, the sweepings are thrown forward into the waste container mounted in front of the roller brush. A built-in fleece filter retains fine dust to ensure clean ambient air. The side brush can be swung up and out of the way when sweeping large open areas to reduce the amount of dust created.
The waste container has an ergonomically shaped handle for easy emptying. The front of the machine's sturdy frame is also shaped for easy handling, e.g. for lifting the machine up or down steps. The push handle is now adjustable in three stages to suit the height of the operator. It can also be folded down completely. After use, the machine can be stored standing upright to save space.
