Even though the July School Holidays are over we are still in the depths of winter and the countdown is on! The Audi Quattro Winter Games kicks off Friday 21st August in Queenstown. With free events on and off the mountain in both Queenstown and Wanaka and it's sure to be high on the list of things to do.  But for those who have not booked time off work they can watch all the action live from Snowplanet's 7 Summits Restaurant & Bar

To help celebrate and get everyone prepared for the action Snowplanet are offering a huge 30% discount on their Family Day Combo Passes! Grab the family and spend the day at Snowplanet. Snowplanet’s Magic Castle was a massive hit last year and it’s going to be bigger in 2015!  Standing 12m, the Magic Castle on the snow is the ultimate in Christmas experiences.  Santa will be there with his Elves from the 21st November and this will truly be the coooooolest Santa visit in the Southern Hemisphere.  Book a group visit at night and their Elves will serve Ice Cocktails in the snow before some awesome tubing fun from the Magic Castle!

BRAND NEW to Snowplanet, they have introduced an awesome new product - Hagglund Off Road Adventures, which a few lucky customers got to experience during the school holidays. 'Hagglund' offers a 20 minute ride in Snowplanet's Antarctic Hagglund snow cat where customers will encounter angled traverses, steep climbs, drop offs and a water filled pond around the grounds of Snowplanet.  They are only running rides on the weekends so people will need to book if they don’t want to miss out!
