The British take tea, Americans have a coffee break, but for Kiwis, it will always be Smoko. When the time comes, we put aside our work, grab our favourite mug and gather at the Boil & Brew with our tea bags and instant at the ready. For the next 15 minutes we dunk our biscuits and talk about our weekends, the rugby and what’s on the telly.

Made right here in New Zealand, with a new modern look and a number of improvements there are going to be many more smokos and great yarns around the recently re-introduced Rinnai Boil & Brew. The ‘new look’ Rinnai Boil & Brew means there is no more having to remove the tap to take the case off, with a new shape giving clean lines with an easy clean cover. There is now also an easy access point for the reset of the thermostat, and the Boil & Brew is packaged up in a new good looking carton.

At the beginning of 2015 a few of  Rinnai’s innovative team were enjoying a cup of tea around the Boil & Brew and decided that it was about time they gave the unit a well-deserved makeover. They had a few ideas of their own on what they could do, but before they got all ‘extreme makeover’ they went out and spoke to a bunch of customers to see what they thought Rinnai should do. Nine months and a heap of insights later they learnt that in the case of the Boil & Brew “it’s not just what’s on the outside that counts”.  It turns out that the Boil & Brew unit was loved by most, just the way it was.

Its simplistic and hassle-free operation was what everyone liked, and the simple internal workings meant that it was reliable and super easy to service. So well-known for its durability, the name “bullet proof Boil & Brew” even came up a couple of times. There’s a place for the New Rinnai Boil & Brew in any environment that needs constant boiling water. The Boil & Brew is at home anywhere,  ideal for cafes, canteens, retirement homes, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, sports complexes, factories, fast food outlets, shops and offices.

The Boil & Brew comes in four sizes with 5, 10, 15 and 25 litre models delivering between 30 to 200 cups an hour. This means that whether it’s going into a small office kitchen for making cups of tea and coffee or into a KFC branch producing enough potato and gravy to feed an army, there is a Boil & Brew to suit every application.
