Hamilton's Argent Motor Lodge is a TripAdvisor Favourite

TripAdvisor is the world’s number one travel website, providing guest reviews and information about accommodation providers and activities worldwide.

Nobody knows this better than Graeme Hunt, owner of Hamilton’s award-winning accommodation provider Argent Motor Lodge. 

Argent Motor Lodge has won the Travellers’ Choice Award for Hotels for 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.  The Travellers’ Choice Award for Hotels is the highest honour given by TripAdvisor.

“TripAdvisor reviews are a great way for guests to let us know how they’re feeling about their stay,” says Graeme.  “If there’s anything we can to do improve, we want to hear about it.”

With Argent Motor Lodge being the closest motel to Waikato Hospital and adjacent to Braemar Hospital, guests often stay at Argent Motor Lodge to be near family members or loved ones who are using the hospital.

“Or they might be patients themselves,” says Graeme, “who need somewhere to stay while being treated at one of the hospitals.”

Typical of Argent Motor Lodge’s reviews on TripAdvisor is this one from a guest who stayed this month:

“We had to travel to Waikato hospital recently for a family emergency,” says the review by Charles B. “The All Blacks were playing in town so everything was booked out Saturday. Unfortunately we had to stay somewhere else night one - but night 2 onwards at this motel was an absolute pleasure. The young lady at reception was so professional and friendly. The room was clean and very nicely appointed. The bed was so comfortable. It's super close the hospital (walking, driving or shuttle) and is close to a small groups of shops for essentials.

“I would highly recommend this motel for a comfy stay,” continued Charles B. “We will be back - hopefully under different circumstances.”

Graeme Hunt says reviews like this are humbling but show that Argent Motor Lodge is getting things right for their valuable guests.
