Sileni Estates has launched a new range of Rosé just in time for summer. The range includes a wine made from Cabernet Franc and a reserve Pinot Noir Rosé from the 2016 vintage.

The 2016 Cellar Selection Cabernet Franc Rosé is produced in Hawke’s Bay, the fruit is grown specifically for this wine and gently pressed to create the desired amount of vibrant colour and tannin.

“Our Cellar Selection Rosé has aromas of berry and cherry, with vibrant flavours of red berry and spice. It is delicious with salmon, charcuterie or fresh seafood,” says Chief Winemaker Grant Edmonds.

The Cellar Selection Cabernet Franc Rosé has an RRP of $19.99.

The 2016 Estate Selection Ridge Pinot Noir Rosé is produced from reserve Pinot Noir vineyards, grown in cooler Hawke’s Bay inland sub-regions.

“The Ridge Rosé is more delicate, with aromatic strawberry and cherry flavours, which are juicy and refreshing. It’s the perfect lunchtime wine, delicious with a Mediterranean style platter,” says Edmonds.

The Estate Selection Ridge Pinot Noir Rose has an RRP of $24.99.

“Rosé is currently the fastest growing wine category in New Zealand. Consumers appreciate it for its lighter style, gorgeous fruit flavour and the ability to match it with a wide range of food. It is the perfect wine for warmer weather,” says Sileni Estates CEO, Nigel Avery.

The new range of Rosé is available in store now from New World supermarkets and good wine stores.
