One dead after Milford crash

Fatal Road Accident, Milford Sound Highway. 

At approximately 3.50 pm on the 13/01/2008 the Ambulance Service received a call that a passenger Bus had been involved in an accident with another vehicle. 

One person died at the scene and two other persons were air lifted to Dunedin Hospital. 

One person was described as critical and the other as serious. 

Police are currently investigating the accident and expect to be there for most of the evening and part of tomorrow. 

The Milford Road Highway is open.
