WELLINGTON CITY

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Plain White T’s will no longer be headlining the ‘V’ Block Party in Wellington on Monday 25th February.

Instead our very own hit makers Opshop will be taking their place supported by Autozamm. With comparisons to U2, and numerous awards under their collective belts, Opshop and Autozamm are sure to set downtown Wellington alight this Monday.

“We know this will be a great disappointment to those V Republic members looking forward to seeing the Plain White T’s. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, it is now not possible for the band to play. We apologize to fans and hope the great lineup of NZ talent will be some consolation. We can assure you that the Plain White T’s are committed to coming to NZ in the not too distant future,” said V brand manager Jo Turner.

Following hot on the heels of the successful ‘V’ Block Party held in Britomart Square, Auckland in December, this free outdoor event will be held at Waitangi Park in central Wellington on Monday 25th February starting at 7.00pm.

Sign up to www.vrepublic.co.nz and come along to the ‘V’ Block Party II for free plus you could win loads of great prizes on the night. It’s free to join and members receive heaps of benefits including exclusive invitations to cool events.
