West Auckland police say today's post mortem examination of the deceased body of an 84 year old female has been inconclusive.

The 84 year old woman's body was discovered in her Henderson home on Friday evening. Death was considered to be from natural causes.

Police launched an enquiry yesterday after new information on the circumstances surrounding the woman's death was conveyed to them.

Detective Senior Sergeant Jill Rogers of the Waitemata District CIB is heading the enquiry. She says there are no determining factors from today's autopsy that fully satisfy police.

'This is an unexplained death. There are a number of people whom we are talking too. Our enquiries are focused on firmly establishing the true cause of death to the deceased,' Jill Rogers said.

The name of the deceased female is:
CAMPBELL/Dorothy Beryl
DOB 14/04/1923 - Age 84 years
Resident of Henderson -West Auckland
