Two charged with Murder in Upper Hut

Two Upper Hutt men aged 41 and 28 will be appearing in the Upper Hutt District Court today (Thurs) charged with Murder.
Detective Inspector Shane Cotter says 'Upper Hutt Police were called to a disturbance at a house in central Upper Hutt yesterday afternoon and located a seriously injured man inside. Despite Police and Fire Service staff performing CPR on the man he died at the address. A homicide investigation has now begun.'
The name of the deceased man aged 64 will be released tomorrow when his next of kin have been advised.
Media briefing will be held at Upper Hutt Station at about 8am on Thurs 30th April.
