Crusaders to play March home games at Trafalgar Park

Trafalgar Park will host the Crusaders in the Super 15 rugby competition on 4 and 11 March following the Christchurch AMI Stadium being deemed out of action after Tuesday's devastating earthquake.

Nelson Mayor Aldo Miccio says, “Nelson City Council is once again able to offer assistance by providing the Park free of charge to host both Crusaders games. I wish we could be hosting under different circumstances, but perhaps making sure the Crusaders can play a game of rugby will go some way toward giving Cantabrians a break for a few hours.”

The team will play the New South Wales Waratahs on 4 March and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Brumbies on 11 March. Both games will kick off at 7.35 pm.
