Early birds have only a few days left to secure an entire season on the slopes at the special Mt Ruapehu 2011 Season Pass rate ending on 30 April.

Until the close of April, snow lovers can score a Mt Ruapehu Season Pass for just $415 for adults and $250 for youth (under 18 years of age).

That equates to just over four days at the standard lift pass price, making it excellent value for regulars and newbies alike.

The Mt Ruapehu team has been inundated with early snow – an indicator of a stellar season ahead.

“We are sitting in a blizzard today which is unusual for April,” says Mike Smith, Marketing Manager at Mt Ruapehu. “It’s looking like there will be some great snow this season so I would encourage those who haven’t already to grab the best deal to enjoy it at a great price.”

Not only does this year’s Season Pass give holders all access to Mt Ruapehu, but also great discounts at selected South Island Ski Areas as well as Winter Park and Copper Mountain in Colorado for the 2011-2012 season.

The 2011 Season Pass provides over $100 off on-mountain discounts including gear hire, lessons and food.

Early Bird Season Passes can be purchased up until 5pm 30 April 2011 at www.mtruapehu.com, or by phoning 0508 Ruapehu (782 734) from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
