Fatal car crash - Te Awamutu

At about 5.40 p.m. on Sunday the 11th of September 2011, Police attended a motor vehicle crash on Cambridge Road, approximately 8 kilometres east of Te Awamutu.

The crash occurred when an east bound car has lost control on a moderate bend crashing into an oncoming ute.

The female driver of the car died at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The driver of the ute received minor injuries in the crash.
