Exhibition sites are nearing full occupancy for the 44th New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays, even though the event is still months away. A total of 98% of all sites at Fieldays have been acquired by agricultural related businesses, who understand the significance of exhibiting at the iconic event. Outdoor agricultural sites are 99% occupied and the sought-after indoor Mystery Creek Pavilion is fully subscribed. With less than 20 sites available across the entire 40 hectares of exhibition space, Fieldays organisers are expecting to reach capacity well ahead of previous years.

Vacant sites are predominantly concentrated within the Rural Living Area of Fieldays. 13% of Rural Living sites are still available for companies which complement the farming lifestyle. The popular Kiwi’s Best Marquee situated within this area is completely sold out with companies showcasing their quality food and beverage products. In addition to these quality food sites, celebrity chefs will demonstrate delicious ways to use exhibitors’ premium products in the Kiwi’s Best Kitchen Theatre.

Other areas of interest during Fieldays include the pioneering Ag Art Wear and Innovation competitions. The Ag Art Wear wearable arts competition is currently seeking talented designers to construct extremely creative and unique garments derived from rural products. The Innovation Competition powered by the University of Waikato, is also searching for innovative entries. The supreme Innovation award, the esteemed Golden Standard, recognises backyard agricultural inventions or improvements which have the potential to enhance farming practices. Both competitions close on Wednesday the 16th of May 2012, for more information head to the Fieldays website, www.fieldays.co.nz.

New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays will be held 13-16 June 2012 at Mystery Creek Events Centre, 10 minutes south of Hamilton. The event is proudly supported by strategic partners - ANZ and the University of Waikato.
