Ultimate Hikes opens bookings for 2013-14 with a new season deal

The Great Walks season is in full swing, and Ultimate Hikes, exclusive operator of multi-day guided walks on the Milford, Routeburn and Greenstone Tracks, has opened up bookings for 2013-14 with a great new season deal.

The new season offer is available to walk between 1 November and 20 December 2013.  It includes a night’s accommodation at the Novotel Queenstown Lakeside Resort on each side of the walk and starts from $1,299, but bookings must be made by 30 April 2013.

A new feature of the 2013-14 booking season is lower child pricing.  If two or more children are on the same booking, a reduced price applies after the first child.

“While our minimum age is 10 years old, it’s never too early to introduce young people to the beauty of nature, and where best to do this than our own pristine National Parks,” said Ultimate Hikes General Manager Noel Saxon.

“We’ve experienced a pleasing trend this year in more New Zealanders’ booking on the tracks, and family groups are also increasing.

“Walking with us is a great way to experience a family holiday. We take care of all the details, so everyone can relax and enjoy the great outdoors in a safe and comfortable environment.”

Ultimate Hikes is unique in providing fully-catered guided walks on these iconic tracks, enabling people to experience the tracks in their own time and at their own pace, with the safety and comfort of guides and private lodges.

There is still space available to walk in the current season, which runs until April 18 2013.  The 2013-14 season is now open for bookings to walk between November 1 2013 and April 11 2014.

Bookings for the new season deal can only be made through the Reservations Centre.  They cannot be booked online.
