Global Beauty, the New Zealand distributors of leading international nail lacquer brand OPI, are proud to announce a new sponsorship deal with cyclist Emily Collins.

Described as “New Zealand’s hope for the future” of road cycling, 22-year-old Emily recently joined the Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling team in Europe following two impressive seasons in the United States. After her breakthrough year in 2012, Emily was part of the New Zealand National team at the World Road Cycling Championships in Valkenburg.

“We’re longtime supporters of New Zealand women’s cycling,” explains Global Beauty Marketing Manager Terri Grace. “OPI already sponsors the Women’s elite Road Race at the annual Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge – so it was a logical next step to partner with one of our up-and-coming cycling superstars. Not only is Emily a highly successful competitor on the world stage, she’s also a down to earth Kiwi who is young, stylish, well-travelled and a real inspiration to us all.”

“OPI are multi-award-winning leaders in the beauty industry,” adds Emily. “Their support will be invaluable in helping me progress my career, both in New Zealand and overseas. I’m so happy to be on board with them - what girl wouldn’t, right?!”
