SKINS fans will be celebrating this month with the launch of the new A200 women’s range.

The pioneering Australian compression sportswear company has released three new colours – cerulean (blue), black/confetti pink for women and grey marle for men.

The SKINS A200 range is the only therapeutic compression sportswear supported by numerous independent studies published in peer-reviewed medical journals.  SKINS improve stamina, aid recovery and allow you to work out at a more intense level for longer and therefore achieve the body you’ve been striving for sooner.

The women’s range boasts a great fit and therefore an ultra-flattering silhouette and includes shorts, ¾ tights and long tights and long-sleeve tops – now with the contrast colour waistband detail available in New Zealand. While the men’s range includes half tights and short sleeve tops.

The workout wear is made from 2+ technical and functional fabric and has ergonomic seaming and stretch mesh under-arm ventilation. The strong seams act as anchor points to ensure controlled gradient compression and muscle support and the internal key pocket continues to be popular.

“The SKINS are great for exercising in any weather. If you’re training outside at the moment, you’ll be protected from the sun’s rays with 50+ UV protection,” said SKINS NZ Manager David Watt. “As we move into cooler temperatures and fewer daylight hours, the SKINS reflective trim gives you increased visibility.”

A BMI (Body Mass Index) anthropometrical algorithm takes into account the wearer’s height, weight, and chest measurements to ensure the best fit and stop garments from riding up and, most importantly, minimise the dreaded ‘body wobble’. The seam placement is optimised to diminish chafing and create a longer, leaner look.

About SKINS A200 range for women
The SKINS A200 range provides scientifically proven benefits and is the only therapeutic compression sportswear brand supported by numerous independent studies published in peer-reviewed medical journals.  It wraps the muscles in a second ‘skin’ and applies the correct levels of pressure, in order to accelerate blood flow and increase oxygen delivery to working muscles, improving stamina and aiding recovery. The increase in circulation provided by the A200, will allow you to work out at a more intense level for longer and therefore achieve the body you have been striving for sooner. Improved circulation also helps to reduce the build-up of blood lactate and other metabolic wastes, and can help to reduce the risk of varicose veins as well as swollen ankles.

A200 also reduces muscle vibration resulting in less soft tissue damage which means you can be back on the treadmill or bike sooner, not waiting for your body to recover from its last workout.

Another exercising bugbear (unsightly sweat marks) is effectively reduced by the use of the A200, as SKINS moisture management wicking system is proven to actively draw moisture away from the skin to the outer surface of the garment where it evaporates, keeping the skin dry. These properties discourage the growth of bacteria by ionically absorbing odour-causing substances normally associated with Lycra wear.  If you want to train outside, SKINS gives you the freedom to do so; there is 50+ UV protection to ensure the body is protected from the sun’s rays.
