The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand Inc (the Guild) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Bullen to its Board of Directors. David will be representing Guild members in the Midland electorate.
David brings a wealth of experience to the Guild Board, having owned Unichem Te Aroha Pharmacy since 1994 and Paeroa Pharmacy since 2009. He qualified as a pharmacist in 1988 and his career has also taken him through periods as a pharmaceutical representative and a software consultant.
David is also a current Board member of the Midland Community Pharmacy Group and has been involved with this, and the local branch of the Pharmacy Guild, since they began.
The charitable trust that runs Waikato’s Te Aroha hospital has also benefitted from David’s input. During his time as chairperson on that Trust, he instigated and oversaw a major restructure that saved the hospital after a period of financial difficulty.
Karen Crisp, President of the Guild, and the rest of the Board are looking forward to working alongside David, and have no doubt of the contribution he will make over the year to come.
