WHANGAREI

Demonstrations for democracy were held around New Zealand on September 1, 2013.  This video shows the Whangarei march and all the speeches given.  The event started at 2pm in Cameron Street Mall and ended at Laurie Hall park where speakers addressed a wide range of issues, including the need to keep New Zealand GE free and the need to stop gold mining occurring in Northland.  The protests were organized nationally by Kiwisconnect.org.nz and the Whangarei march was led by Beverley Frances.
