Dougal Allan to ride Trek Bikes for 2013-14 Season

Cycle Sport New Zealand is pleased to announce that successful multisport athlete and 2013 Australasian multisport champion Dougal Allan will be riding Trek bikes and Bontrager products for the 2013-14 season.
“Dougal is an athlete that has always had contact with us here at Cycle Sport but the timing has never worked for the both of us to join together with Trek bikes” said Bevan Cheatley, Sales and Marketing manager at Cycle Sport New Zealand.
“Now the timing has worked and I am more than happy to have such a professional athlete like Dougal join our sponsored athlete roster.”
Dougal will be riding the new Trek Superfly FS 9.8 SL mountain bike and Madone and Speed Concept road and Tri bikes for his road specific events.
Dougal will also be supported by long time sponsor and major Trek retailer R&R Sport.
“I have spent the past seven years admiring Trek bikes from the wrong side of the fence. In 2014 I will finally realise my dream of actually riding and racing them.
Trek has always clearly been the industry leader in the bicycle world and it continues to break new ground.
Of greatest excitement in my mind is the very real possibility I will soon be riding bikes faster than ever before.
