Are you looking for a delicious sweet treat this summer without the guilt?  Yonanas has the answer.

Using frozen bananas as a base, a yonanas machine creates soft serve style “ice cream”, but without any added sugar, dairy, preservatives, fat or anything else nasty!

You can add ingredients of your choice to craft your very own flavour or check out the recipes I’ve attached for some fruity (and healthy!) ideas to get you started.

 

Simply Strawberry

Ingredients:

2 frozen over-ripe bananas

¾ cup frozen strawberries

Preparation:

Allow bananas to reach the ‘Yo-Zone’* before using.

Insert one of your frozen bananas into the Yonanas machine

  1. Add the strawberries
  2. Stir in a bowl to combine the ingredients
  3. Garnish with a fresh strawberry to serve

 

 

Tropical Tease

Ingredients:

2 frozen over-ripe bananas

½ cup frozen pineapple chunks

½ cup frozen mango chunks

¼ cup shredded coconut

Preparation:

Freeze fresh or canned mango chunks. Allow your bananas to reach the ‘Yo-Zone’* before using.

  1. Insert one frozen banana into your Yonanas machine
  2. Insert ¼ cup frozen pineapple and ¼ cup frozen mango
  3. Insert second frozen banana
  4. Insert the remaining frozen pineapple and mango
  5. Stir in a bowl to combine ingredients
  6. Garnish with shredded coconut to serve
