Rhythm And Vines Bring Festival Vibes To Britomart

The sun is out, the heat is on and it is less than one month out from New Zealand’s biggest New Years Eve festival, Rhythm and Vines.

The festival are inviting the public to come down and experience a taste of the festival at their Mini-R&V on Britomart’s Takutai Square this Thursday, 12th December.

Kieran Spillane, CEO of Rhythm Group says “We are tenants of Britomart, we love the space and wanted to give a teaser of the festival to both people who have been to R&V, and those yet to experience it.”

George FM DJ Ben Walker will be on board the Red Bull Hummer playing a range of tunes from this years line up artists while people relax on Britomart’s bean bags and soak up the mini festival atmosphere.

Other musical treats will include a short set from one of this year’s R&V acts Weird Together, featuring Nick D and Dick Johnson.

Attendees will be encouraged to hang their NYE resolutions from an archway draped in vines and in doing so will go in the draw to win a double pass to R&V.

Other competitions on the day will include an Instagram contest where people will be asked to hashtag an image from the event with #loverandv. The winning image will win a double 3 day festival pass with Vodafone Vintage Club VIP upgrade.

There will be other giveaways on the day from festival sponsors including Fruju, Adidas, and Red Bull.

It promises to be a chilled out slice of R&V in the CBD.  Perfect for a summers day!
