Making new friends should be a fun experience, but often, it becomes a conundrum that never seems to get resolved.  You may be busy with a demanding job, a single Mum or Dad, a couple who are new to the area or someone looking for that someone special in a safe environment.

Table of Eight could be the answer.

Launched by local businesswoman, Letitia Buckle in March, Table of Eight is a new and innovative way for people to meet.  Offering a unique approach for bringing like-minded people together to enjoy each other’s company and appreciate great food.  Dinner parties are organised at a local eatery for up to eight individuals or four couples to get to know each other over a meal and drinks.

Buckle recognised a gap in the market for people looking to meet others socially and meet new friends.  Buckle says, “We are not a dating service, however we do assist with widening your circle of friends.  It’s an opportunity to meet and interact with new people, a place for you to make friends and build your personal network.”

Guests simply submit a registration form with their details.  Table of Eight selects up to eight people to meet, based on age and interests.  For the month of April, when you register, you will go into the draw to win a FREE Table of Eight Dining Experience worth up to $120.  The offer ends 30 April 2014.

Table of Eight has chosen eateries with a reputation for good food, good service and great atmosphere in Hamilton, Cambridge and Te Awamutu.  There are plans to extend this to further regions as demand dictates.
