His wife Jessie swam as a child but you will see her playing hockey most weekends where she has represented her provinces Northland and Waikato at a national level. Her skills as a primary school teacher make her a valuable asset within the business

Following his brother around a swimming pool for all of his childhood it was only natural for Kane to become a swimmer also. Breaking Bay of Plenty and New Zealand records from an early age, he has represented New Zealand at Oceania, Pan Pacific and World Championship events. He is currently New Zealand’s Open Water 10km and 5km champion and is on track to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
