Well know actor, entertainer and comedian Jimmy James Fletcher is joining forces with Christchurch based media, events and entertainment company enthuse.

Fletcher, better known as ‘Jimmy the dwarf,’ has worked on a number of television and film projects, including the Jono Project, Jono and Ben at 10; which won a Qantas Film and Television Award for best entertainment programme in New Zealand in 2008, and more recently has focused his efforts on associate producing and starring roles in the successful New Zealand comedy series Auckland Daze.

enthuse’s Chief Enthusiast John McKenzie says he is really looking forward to working more regularly with Fletcher again. “We’ve worked really successfully together in the past so I’m really looking forward to working more regularly with Jimmy again,” he says. “Based in Auckland in recent years Jimmy has really honed his skills doing stand up comedy and character work and has picked up really valuable experience working on some great television projects and some quite major Hollywood movies.”

McKenzie says Fletcher brings some great scripting and acting skills to enthuse they will use to develop tailor made packages for clients looking for unique event entertainment.

Fletcher’s work has included seven New Zealand and international feature films with roles ranging from stand in and stunt doubles through to the supporting cast. Highlights have been working as a stunt double for Golden Globe and Emmy award winning actor Peter Dinkledge (Game of Thrones) and working with Warwick Davis (Happy Potter series, Life’s too Short), one of most respected short stature actors in the world today.  He also worked on the Warner Brothers 2010 movie Yogi Bear 3D as Boo Boo.

“I love working with live audiences,” Fletcher says. “enthuse has built up a really good reputation for delivering great entertainment for a wide variety of events and conferences all over New Zealand, so I’m really looking forward to adding some value, ideas and more options for their clients .”
