Candor3 + Affordable Pre-Retirement Living

To this end they have created Freedom Village in Papamoa, the first of a new model for affordable pre-retirement living in New Zealand. Candor³ are understandably excited about their role in delivering this exciting 160 unit concept village into the New Zealand market. Stage 1 is now under construction and with sales exceeding expectation the future is looking very rosy.  The project has already attracted attention at the highest level in New Zealand, with Prime Minister, John Key, opening the village last month.

The experience of the Candor3 team contributed to a village layout, delivering a sense of place, amenity and community for future residents and a commercially sound layout based on sound responsible engineering principles. The team at Candor3 managed a surprisingly rapid passage through the Resource Consent process, working collaboratively with the client, architects and Council to achieve positive outcomes for all. Through applying the principles of place-making within the scheme to improve the quality of life for those who will live there, and challenging assumption at every point in the process, Candor3 delivered on what is truly important.

An important component of the Candor³ practice is to take the time to think carefully about the needs of all stakeholders, and about the benefits that might be achieved.
