The McCord family (pictured) from Auckland, have nothing but enthusiastic praise for Rotorua Accommodation, Arista of Rotorua.

Recently Arista of Rotorua, Mitai Maori Village and Raftabout White Water Rafting came together to give an unbeatable and unique Rotorua experience in a not-to-be-missed Facebook competiion.

“Spacious, warm, clean, comfy, friendly and a great location. These are just a few words that describe our recent stay at Arista of Rotorua,” says Nicola McCord, competition winner.

Arista gave away two nights’ luxury accommodation in a spacious Family Studio.

The ‘Family Studio’ unit is perfect for groups who like space, but also like the privacy of the sleeping area being away from the living area. This is great for young families where Mum and Dad want to put the children upstairs to bed and then relax in Arista Of Rotorua’s beautifully decorated lounge area.

“On entering our two level family studio apartment, we were greeted with that yummy Hotel smell that was maintained throughout our entire stay,” says Nicola.

Mitai Maori Village gave the McCord family an authentic introduction to the Maori culture leaving them amazed and in awe. The McCords witnessed warriors in traditional attire paddling in an ancient warrior canoe, viewed the glow worms in their natural habitat and marveled at the sacred freshwater spring. The McCords also experienced a traditionally cooked hangi meal being lifted from the ground.

It’s not a great trip to Rotorua without white water rafting. Raftabout White Water Rafting also offered an exciting ‘Kaituna Rafting trip’ as part of the prize.  Raftabout always provides an awesome day out with white water rafting which features the highest commercially rafted waterfall while The Okere River (Kaituna) is one adventure that no-one ever forgets.

“Our three kids loved the pirate playground at Arista and the fact that we had our very own spa in our enclosed courtyard!,” says Nicola. The units at Arista Of Rotorua are the largest of their kind in Rotorua as they offer spacious living with a self-contained private spa in each.

For those staying with children, Arista Of Rotorua has a fully fenced children’s super playground which is a major attraction.

“I can't rave enough about Arista and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting that ideal stay in Rotorua,” says Nicola

“Thanks so much Mike & Annemarie, it was lovely to meet you both and we'll be visiting again for sure!,” says Nicola
