With over 40 years of hospitality experience and four successful cafes under his belt, Otobahn cafe owner and chief coffee roaster Peter Schulte knows a thing or two about making coffee
Based in Tirau in the rural Waikato since 2008, Otobahn Coffee specialises in creating a unique blend of coffee and is a wholesaler of coffee, teas and accessories.
They also sell new and second hand domestic and commercial coffee machines and grinders which you can enjoy at the café next door or have it delivered directly to restaurants, cafes and households.
“Our small team is dedicated to providing you with a high quality product every time you order,” says Peter Schulte, owner of Otobahn Coffee.
Also part of the Otobahn team are Sang Schulte, who is in charge of distribution and helps with coffee roasting, along with Phillip McKinnon who is the Service Technician who services and installs all of the Otobahn equipment.
Otobahn roast all their delicious coffee in house. “This gives us complete control of both the blend and the flavour,” says Peter.
Otobahn coffee consistently delivers high quality enjoyable coffee to its customers. “At Otobahn Coffee we have achieved a constant blend and flavour whilst retaining the quality ethos of roasting in small batches to ensure freshness,” says Peter.
“We are located in Tirau which means that within 40 minutes we can service our clients in Hamilton, Rotorua, Tauranga and all points in between,” says Peter
Otobahn Coffee excels at personal service, especially when it comes to delivery. “We strive to deliver all our products ourselves as in our experience courier companies tend to keep our products in a hot environment in summer and freezing cold conditions in warehouses in winter,” says Peter.
