Catchi brings in highly experienced Dutch Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist Gijs Wierda

Today Catchi Limited announced the appointment of the highly experienced conversion rate optimisation expert, Gijs Wierda, as its fourth Website Conversion Specialist.

Gijs joins Catchi from The Netherlands where Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) is relatively more advanced and already used as an integrated and overarching discipline within the digital marketing mix of most companies. Gijs brings a highly specialised view of CRO frameworks and methods and has worked with many of The Netherlands' largest online retailers. Gijs also has extensive experience with researching user behaviour through conducting online user and customer surveys.

“Over the last two years we have built an amazing track record here in New Zealand.  As we are now starting to extend our service offering to Australia, Asia and the US, Catchi had been recruiting additional CRO experts to strengthen the team. Strong players that are leaders in their field on a global scale. Apart from Hayden Sanders, who started working with us last month, we weren’t able to find another conversion rate optimiser at that level within the New Zealand market. I see a big opportunity particularly in the online retail space, as here in New Zealand it seems that currently only a very small percentage of companies use a CRO tool on their website. CRO has huge potential for them. In the Netherlands the penetration is close to 100% and every retailer should be optimising.”
