Canterbury of New Zealand recently announced that rugby league stars Shaun Johnson and Manu Vatuvei have become brand ambassadors as part of Canterbury’s on-going and extended sponsorship of the Vodafone Warriors. Both Johnson and Vatuvei will endorse the brand’s comprehensive range of rugby league and lifestyle off-field clothing, appearing in Canterbury’s upcoming autumn/winter campaign for 2015. The new deals are a result of Canterbury’s dedication and commitment to player representation around the world and across both rugby codes and other international sports.

Johnson and Vatuvei become the latest to join Canterbury’s growing team of brand ambassadors which includes English cross-code sensation Sam Burgess, former-Australia and Toulon utility back James O’Connor, Leeds Rhinos half-back Kevin Sinfield and England and Leicester Tigers lock Geoff Parling. There is no doubt that Canterbury Clothing Company are backing, not just these two key players, but the whole team for the future, and with the 2015 season soon approaching, CCC will be releasing new apparel this month on their canterburyofnz.com website.

Those three little CCC kiwis were fronting it again on the world stage as they appeared on the shirts of the victorious Black Caps New Zealand Cricket Team in their test win over Pakistan this week. Blackcaps Skipper Brendon McCullum says the reality of their third test win over Pakistan will come in time as the team continues to struggle with international cricket's biggest heartache, namely the untimely death of Phillip Hughes last week in Sydney. New Zealand squared the series 1-all with Pakistan, after mounting an incredible first innings 690 in reply to Pakistan's 351. New Zealand dismissed Pakistan for 259 and spinner Mark Craig was named Man of the Match claiming a ten-wicket bag.

Inspired by the success of its on-field attire, Canterbury has developed a highly recognized off-field range, including lifestyle collections and their famous “uglies” range. Whether you're training, playing or relaxing after a game, the team at Canterbury New Zealand want to ensure you have a competitive advantage and do it in style.
