There is only one place to be in 2015 and that is at the Cricket World Cup. To mark the return of the ICC Cricket World Cup to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in 23 years, opening events will take place in Melbourne and Christchurch on 12 February, 2015 - and below is how people can join the fun. To add to the enjoyment and celebration of such an iconic event, Canterbury of NZ are featuring some very cool cricket gear on their website at http://www.canterburyofnz.com, including their Black Caps ODI replica shirts and kids’ replica shirts. They also have T20 replica shirts and kids’ replica shirts and, of course, the Black Caps test replica shirts and Black Caps replica caps and other cool gear.

Both the Melbourne and Christchurch events will involve World Cup players and legends, cultural and music performances, spectacular fireworks display and much more.  They will reflect the diversity and culture of the 14 nations competing in the tournament and include some icons of Australian and New Zealand entertainment.
The Melbourne event is a free event, however a ticket is required for entry. Tickets are strictly limited and available on a first come, first served basis from midday on January 12th 2015. The Christchurch event is free, no tickets are required and people are invited to just turn up on the day and enjoy the experience.  For more information on the Christchurch event, go to www.futurechristchurch.co.nz/icc-cricket-world-cup-2015 . The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is proudly supported by national, state, territory and regional governments in Australia and New Zealand.

Having just completed a very successful test series against Sri Lanka, with New Zealand winning both tests, the Black Caps are now playing seven one day games against them and with the Christchurch ODI in the weekend already in the bag, we have a great summer of cricket ahead of us.
