Cloud-based property management software company, Palace, have released a major update that offers a new way for property managers to leverage their data. Previewed at the Palace User Conference in 2014, the update has been eagerly awaited and is now live across all Palace platforms. By allowing property managers to customise how they view their data, they’re able to improve their day-to-day workflows. “This functionality allows property managers to set up views unique to their company,” says Duncan Abbott, lead technician. “It will create efficiencies in their day-to-day activities which is what our software is all about”.

Released in January, the update provides additional compelling new functionality to help companies achieve significant business advantages such as enhanced fee collection ledgers which allow more flexibility on how tenant fees are collected and distributed. They have also added an updated connector module to the Palace mobile app which allows for faster uploading of inspection reports and inspection videos. The app has also been updated to take advantages of iOS8. Palace has also added custom views, allowing the creation of dynamic reports.

Palace is used by property management companies to manage the financial aspects of their business with its beautifully designed software, which allows them to do more than just perform trust accounting and property management tasks. Also, with Palace’s mobile app they can conduct video inspections, create inspection reports and initiate works orders. Similarly, if they need to look up their owner, property, tenant or creditor details while they are out of the office, that's no problem either. They can also get an up-to-date analysis of their business with KPI reports, graphs and comparisons which help them to focus on growing their rent roll.

Palace provides access on demand for property management companies’ clients, allowing owners to download their own statements, inspection reports, check paid-to dates and more. They can also brand the owner login site with their own logo and colours for a seamless user experience. They can also save time and money using text messaging and send messages to individuals or groups and personalise them using SMS templates. All messages (sent and received) are recorded for easy retrieval.

Palace enables clients to store everything and scanned documents, invoices and any electronic files can be easily uploaded and saved. Furthermore, scanned invoices can be emailed with owner statements at month’s end or retrieved by landlords on the owner portal. Palace’s slick design and a smart interface mean it is easy-to-learn and efficient to use. As property management continues to get stricter with more rules and legalities, technology needs to keep up to date with the changes, so go to the Palace website today for more information at http://www.getpalace.com  and http://www.getpalace.com/au .
