The Lonely Willow Photography team were recently lucky enough to catch the Aurora Australis in all its glory when they were the photographers at a wedding being held at the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo. To be able to see the aurora in Tekapo, New Zealand, it needs to be very active and for that activity to coincide with it being night time and also a clear night. If there is no moon around then this would also help.
