Leading Channel Management Company STAAH Announces World-wide Release of Exciting New App for Accommodation Providers

Auckland based Online Distribution company STAAH has announced the release of an exciting new app on Google Play aimed at all accommodation providers.
The app is currently available in the Google Play store. Users are able to manage and update their rates, check inventory and even take bookings and payments directly from their mobiles or tablets.
The STAAH app was announced at a MediaPA networking event on Thursday evening in Hamilton. Edwin Saldanha, Head of Sales, introduced the new app, saying, “This is an important feature for all our properties.”
Saldanha described the app as a game-changing feature for accommodation providers who want the freedom to manage their business without being tied to the front desk all day. “If they’re out shopping or when there are not on their desk and want to change their rates or availability … all they’ve got to do is log into this app,” he said. “They can do it on the go.”
STAAH CEO, Gavin Jeddo, is also effusive about the app’s potential. He says, “For the motel owner, flexibility is key.” He is enthusiastic about the practicality and simplicity the app provides. He demonstrates the app as he speaks, emphasising its ease of use. It’s as straightforward as taking the customer’s name and details over the phone and adding them to the app, “and their booking’s already in the system,” he says. “It’s all integrated, it’s so simple.”
Jeddo is confident their app will allow accommodation providers to regain their work-life balance, without compromising their business. It’s an effective solution to a problem which will only grow as the industry becomes more mobile-based.
The STAAH app is fully integrated with their existing channel management system, and works with many existing Property Management Systems.
