From all around the Auckland region, people are trying to find the perfect balance of city and country for their new home.
And Century21 Manurewa offer the solution with the excellent range of lifestyle properties on offer.
In just released figures from Century 21, the median price for lifestyle blocks in Auckland rose by $140,000 (+16.3%) from $860,000 for the three months to April 2014 to $1,000,000 for the three months to April 2015.
The lifestyle property market saw a 13.7% lift (+233 sales) in sales volume in the three months to April 2015 compared to April 2014. 1,940 sales were recorded in the three months to Aprils 2014 compared to 1,707 sales in the three months to April 2014.
For the 12 Months to April 2015 there were 6650 unconditional sales of lifestyle properties an increase of 0.1% (+8 sales) over the 12 Months to April 2014.
The national median price for lifestyle blocks rose by $42,500 (+8.3%) from $510,000 for three months to April 2015, a new record national median price for lifestyle blocks.
The median number of days to sell for lifestyle properties eased by one day, from 73 days for three months to the end of march to 74 days for three months to the end of April. Compared to the three months ended April 2014 the media number of days to sell improved by one day.
Auckland reported the shortest number of days to sell in April 2015 at 51 days. The figures indicated for the three-month period ending April 2015 reflect a healthy increase of sales volumes.
Other statistics released by Century 21 saw a decrease in sales volumes in the Auckland region but a solid increase in the median price, particularly evident in the growth areas to the south of the city where prices have lifted strongly, resulting in a number of sales in the $1m - $3m price range.
