AWARD-WINNING Paraparaumu Bakery Kapiti Cakes have fashioned a fantastic reputation over the years for the quality of their cakes supplied to the Wellington region and bakery goods supplied to their local customers.
A significant part of their business, however, has always been their involvement in large scale specifically targeted ‘project orders’ to the corporate world.
Bakery owner Thomas Thomas commented: “We have enjoyed long term relationships with a number of large scale New Zealand business clients and our ability to work with Marketing departments in the design, implementation and delivery of large scale projects to celebrate their business milestones and corporate events.”

Some recent projects have included the production of 1500 branded cupcakes for a large scale event for the Inter-Islander. A similar project for that company is currently at the planning stage.
One hundred customized cakes for Healthcare NZ, and identical cakes for every Farmers store are two other recent projects.
Other organisations the likes of The Bank of New Zealand, Ray White Real Estate, the Wellington Rugby Union, Massey University, Fletchers, Greater Wellington Regional Council, and Idea Services have developed successful business relationships with Kapiti Cakes.

That is essential component definitely in the development of the working relationships we have with large and medium scale corporate entities” said Thomas.
