YummyMummy Fitness Auckland Group Fitness Classes

Winter is not the easiest time to try to get fit, especially for mums with small children or babies, so Aucklanders are extremely lucky to have the YummyMummy Fitness Group Fitness classes at several locations around the city (see below). Their  Bootcamp classes offer fun and challenging workouts for all mums and, being child friendly mums are most welcome to bring their kids of all ages along. However, mums can come along on their own – it’s not mandatory to bring a pram!

For mums whose baby or toddler needs help going to sleep, the YummyMummy Fitness trainers are more than happy to rock their pram and help out where they can so that mums can continue exercising throughout the class. We are all mums, so a crying baby doesn’t bother anyone and the YummyMummy Fitness girls will do their best to keep everybody happy and settled.

The YummyMummy Fitness Group Fitness classes cover all over body strengthening exercises and core strengthening. Their core exercises are mostly Pilates based so are safe for all new mums and mums with abdominal separation. The YummyMummy Fitness team  will also help mums adjust the program if they have a weak pelvic floor, prolapse or are post prolapse surgery. The classes also cover cardio such as running/walking/fitness based games and each class is set up differently, varying between circuits, challenges and team races, boxing, and much more.

At YummyMummy Fitness they understand that no exercise programme is sustainable without the elements of fun and a feeling of achievement, both of which are extensively covered in all their bootcamp programmes. These classes are suitable for mums of all fitness levels, shapes, sizes and ages so for those who are after a fun workout with friendly and supportive groups of ladies then these will be perfect as a winter exercise programme.

Papakura (Ray Small Park): Tuesday 9.30am

Northcote (Stafford Park): Friday 10.15am

Takapuna (Killarney Reserve): Monday 9.30am
