Michael Abbott, CEO of Palace, the property management software providers, recently revealed that they are in the process of releasing a Property Inspection app for the Android operating system. Their iPhone/iPad app has been out for a few years, so they have a number of customers waiting to use the Android version. They currently have some users beta testing the app so if anyone wants to join their beta testers, they should email Michael at: Michael@getpalace.com

The recently released update to the iOS version of Palace Mobile is designed to aid property managers in conducting inspections by allowing them to create inspection reports and upload inspection videos. The app also gives property managers the tools to request maintenance for properties from their preferred tradespeople while out onsite.

Designed with iOS8 in mind, the new Palace app features a modern and inviting design on both the iPhone and iPad versions. The new version includes larger native screen sizes for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and the ability to add multiple photos to inspection reports has been enhanced and allows inspections to be completed in less time. It also has button sizes tweaked to allow for more streamlined use on the iPad mini.

“In every iteration of the app we have the opportunity to innovate,” says Abbott. “We understand the need for speed and simplicity in our app and this ultimately improves the customer experience.” Michael asks people to note that the latest version is still available as a free update for all customers.

Palace’s trust accounting software, manages financial transactions, calculating commissions and creating and processing batch payments to landlords and suppliers. It also stores correspondence (emails, SMS and letters), and gives users the tools to perform inspections with their mobile phone. In short, it provides a host of tools for running a property management business.

Property Managers are always on the go but there’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to access their data. Palace mobile apps bring a whole new dimension to a business as it doesn’t cost extra and it’s completely integrated. Key Performance Indicator reports can be broken down by Agent, Group or both, making it easier to identify areas which could be improved. Graphs show trends between years and also allow month-by-month comparisons.
