Raglan based Aeronavics have newly appointed Kristy Wright as their Graphic Designer with Media Marketing and Sales Assistance.

RAGLAN-BASED Aeronavics have appointed Kristy Wright as their Graphic Designer, with Media, Marketing and Sales Assistance. Kristy, who is originally from Tauranga, relocated to Hamilton to attend The University of Waikato. She has recently completed her Masters of Media and Creative Technologies, majoring in Design Media.

Kristy admits that before beginning at Aeronavics she knew little about drones, but had heard of Aeronavics through film production companies, and at events such as the Fieldays. Kristy explained: “I had heard of [Aeronavics] but didn’t realize they were a world leader with this technology. It’s really exciting to be a part of something like this.”

Previously, Kristy has worked for companies involved with photography, design, film production, augmented reality and app design. Her new position will give her the opportunity to put all these skills to use as she helps to bring Aeronavics to the world. When asked what her job will involve, Kristy said:  “everything from redesigning the website, training and instructional manuals, to creating instructional videos, photography, and promo videos as part of social media, marketing, and sales.”

Having been on the team for just less than two weeks, Kristy says she has already faced a lot of new challenges. “It’s been a busy week and a bit already!” When asked about her experience so far, Kristy says; “everyday is different, which is really exciting.  From taking photos of bots that are about to go out the door, to redesigning manuals and certificates…it’s really great.”

Aeronavics is making huge strides both in New Zealand and internationally and Kristy is now part of the team behind this world wide recognized brand.
